The Committee of the
Scottish Vintage Vehicle Federation is composed of a group of enthusiasts
who are subject to re-election each year at the Annual General Meeting
of the Federation in November. The Committee functions by means of Office
Bearers who carry out various set tasks and Area Representatives who cover
either a specific area or a specified interest. Generally, our Area Representatives
try and visit a wide selection of Rallies and Events within their area
each year so as to be in a position to report back to the whole Committee
should any Rally fall below reasonable standards. The Area Representatives
tend to take a particular interest in matters of safety and a number of
years ago it became Federation policy to declare that any organisation
effectively disqualified themselves from Federation Membership if they
attempted to hold an event which was published in the YearBook without
there being in place a Certificate of Insurance against 3rd Party Risks.
All questions regarding Federation business should in the first instance
be directed to the appropriate Area or Specialist Representative.
